Nelson Mandela's achievements and turning points
Turning points:
  • He was becoming chief of his local tribe'
  • Whilst at university he became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of SAS.

 in 1960 the Sharpeville massacre of 63 black South African’
  • had been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in priso

  • he retaired from work




Achievement:
  • Finish his degree and qualified as a Lawyer.
  • Opened the first Black Law firm in SA.
  • 1944 helped
  • President of South African.
  • He is widely admired and has received many prestigious awards.
  • Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

1970- He helped eye diseases in aboriginal Australians
1980- Fred was Travelling all over the world
1989- He knew he was dying of cancer
1993- He died at home because of cancer
